Do you know anyone who has packed up and moved on to greener pasteurs? Everyone I speak to these days is moving to Spain, Australia or Canada.
I did it myself for four years, and loved every minute of it...as you can read about in my book, "Nice Work If You Can Get It"...but there are always those things you miss. Your family, fish and chips, the special someone you wish had emigrated with you.
Well this song is about that girl in my life. The one who didn't want to leave England...at first! In fact it took three years to convince her. But when she did finally decide to come and give it a try, the year we spent there together was the best of my four years in Spain.
